Mona and Terry take us into the lives of other dogs and their owners showing us how rewarding, and life changing adopting a rescue dog is. The film is delightful in its sincerity and smallness of scope. Loving Mona clearly shows a deep love for its subjects, dogs and people alike, and is a special treat to be allowed inside the filmmaker’s world, and the special relationship he has with his dog. This is a film for our time when so many people have become isolated and can use the unconditional love of an animal.
